All Performance Pro Artesian 2 pumps are bench dested and shipped direct from Performance Pro. This way, you recieve a working pump. Allow an add'tl 1-3 business days for Performance Pro to assemble and bench test your pump, on top of transit time. 
 
We use one of these pumps per 6000 gallons at our koi ranch (our 12,000 gallon tank has 2 of these pumps).
